DibbleDog is the name of Anna Dibble’s business. Dibble exhibits her paintings in galleries and art centers and online at http://www.annadibble.net. Recently she was commissioned to paint an installation of 5 paintings for Beecher’s Handmade Cheese, a cheese manufacturer, store, & restaurant at 800 Broadway in New York City. These paintings feature some of the cheese animals – goat, cow, sheep, yak, camel – sitting at tables and eavesdropping on each other’s conversations and thoughts. They are installed in The Cellar – a place where one can sit and look at the paintings while eating mac and cheese or excellent prociutto, Flagship, and fine salami, while sipping a glass of wine or Tequila Sunrise.
DibbleDog also offers a line of blank notecards, and some poster prints of images in the same style as the cards. Those can be found at: http://www.shop.dibbledog.com or in Vermont and Massachusetts stores and coops, including the Northshire Bookstore, Manchester, Vermont and The Red Lion Inn, Stockbridge, MA.
For over 30 years Anna Dibble has exhibited strange 2D and 3D beasts in fine art galleries, published illustrations and pieces of writing in magazines, newspapers, books, designed sets for operas and plays, and created characters for licensing programs. Her career also includes years of working as an artist and writer in Los Angeles, San Francisco and NYC for many film and TV animation studios, including Disney, Marvel, Hanna Barbera, and Sesame Street. Dibble has taught various mediums and approaches to visual art to adults and children.
