detail from painting, ‘Blessed are the Cheesemakers’
Landgrove painter, Anna Dibble is currently completing a series of commissioned paintings for Beecher’s Handmade Cheese – a Seattle, Washington cheese manufacturer that is opening a new cheesemaking kitchen, store, cave and café in Manhattan’s Flatiron District on June 24th, 2011. At 900 Broadway, in a recently restored Stanford White building, cheesemakers will craft a new line of cheeses, using rBST and additive free milk from local farms, in a glassed-in viewing area on the street level floor. Downstairs in ‘The Cellar’, Dibble’s paintings will be showcased in a restaurant/wine bar near the cheese cave where some of the cheeses will age. The paintings feature some of the cheese animals: Cow, Goat, Sheep, Yak and Camel; other food animals – Pig, Chicken, Fish, as well as members of the human species. http://www.beechershandmadecheese.com

Really great share. I couldnt agree more with some of the points that you brought up. Staying healthy is the way to go. I think that as long as one acts young.. Ie) Being funny, being fun to be around, cracking jokes, exerciseing, staying active, you will live a much longer and healthier life in general. I know so many people that do both. The ones that try to be young are mch happier in life and healthier as well. Thanks for sharing!
I love the studio, insdie and out! Once you are in and painting you will love it too. I am so excited about taking your class in France! Hopefully, I, too, will be back painting this next week. Thanks for keeping your blog up to date and for sharing your steps/frustrations/successes with painting!
