The fox went out

Makiko enjoyed formal events.   After a long afternoon tailing a wild turkey through the trees until she was finally able to tackle it, wring its neck, and triumphantly carry it in her  strong  jaws  back to the den to share with the others over a well deserved bottle of South African Syrah, she donned her favorite ermine cape, and headed out on the starry night (prayed to the moon to give her light).  She had many a mile to go that night, before she reached the town.
