Waiting for Soup

Waiting for Soup

poster print

When Sebastian accepted the invitation to the gathering at Terrible Mountain he’d assumed there would be other guests as well as bouillabaisse .  The empty bowl with its strange markings, the lack of utensils, and the rat tat tat  of a Pileated Woodpecker on a yellow birch all made Sebastian particularly uneasy.  He wondered if it would be rude to leave the table and trot on home.   Waiting certainly wasn’t one of his skills.
